Ruth-Ann J. Thompson is a motivational speaker, singer/songwriter and author of articles relating to children, autism and teens.

Mrs. Thompson received a Certificate of Grief Management from Griggs University and draws from her own experiences to help others manage their grief. She has conducted Grief Seminars in multiple ventures throughout the United States.

In the fall of 2018, she became widowed for a second time. Ruth-Ann has three living adult children and three grandchildren. She lost her son, Brandon, in a tragic car accident in 2013.

A court reporter by trade, she enjoys teaching children how to grow and adjust to life's toughest challenges. She authors the children's series, The Open Fielders, and plans to release her autobiography, Dancing in My Tattered Pink Dress by the of this year.

To date, she has written over 70 songs, including praise and worship songs used nationally. In 2012 her debut CD, In the Garden, was released. A Thin Place was released four years later.

Her favorite Bible verse is Job 23:10 - "But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold."
