Sis. Sekema Rhodes

She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.

She, Mrs. Sekema Rhodes, was born and raised on the beautiful Caribbean island of Antigua in the West Indies. She carries many titles including Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Friend, Cousin and Niece to name a few, but her favorite title is - Child of God, Daughter of the Most High.

Sekema has served in various church ministries since she was a very young girl, and in 2018 commenced her appointment as the Women's Ministries Leader of the Washington Metro Area. Sekema's love for singing is strong and she admittedly enjoys Praise and Worship second only to a great sermon.

Sekema is passionate about empowering, inspiring, and encouraging others, especially women of all ages, to walk passionately and on purpose according to God's Intentional Design and Plan for their lives, and she believes that we are all commissioned to bloom wherever we are planted.

She knows for sure that she is Fabulously favored, Unbelievably blessed, Unapologetically happy, and Intentionally herself. It is no surprise that what you see is what you get.

Her number 1 goal is to make it to Heaven and eat mangoes in the Earth made new, and until then, everything else along this life's journey is an investment into hearing God say "Well Done!" This is why she can laugh without fear of the future because her hope and trust is in God.
